I've dreamt of funnelling my love for writing and illustration into a kid's book for some time, but I wanted to wait until I was in the right stage of life. Fast forward to today, I have a three-year old son and a four month old little girl, and story time with my son is one of my favourite parts of the day.

Lately I've been reflecting on many of the lessons I think are important to instil in my children, but am not finding within the books currently available. From how the family dynamic will change when a new baby joins to accepting the unique differences we can't always see, I've written a series of stories and have begun to illustrate them. Below is my initial announcement for this personal project.
